Amendments to the Police Regulations 2003

2.—(1) The Police Regulations 2003(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (1) of regulation 10 (qualifications for appointment to a police force)—

(a) after paragraph (b), insert—

“(ba) must have attained the age of 17 years;”;

(b) in paragraph (c), after “18 years” insert “before being appointed to a police force”;

(c) in paragraph (ea), after “paragraph (1A)” insert “before being appointed to a police force”.
