The Communications (Television Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2020

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 365(1) and (4) and 402(3)(a) and (c) of the Communications Act 2003 (“the CA 2003”)(1), including as extended by—
(a)the Communications (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Order 2003(2);
(b)the Communications (Jersey) Order 2003(3);
(c)the Communications (Isle of Man) Order 2003(4);
(d)the Communications (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Order 2004(5);
(e)the Broadcasting and Communications (Jersey) Order 2004(6).
The Treasury has consented to the making of these Regulations in accordance with section 365(6) of the CA 2003.
S.I. 2003/3195, as amended by S.I. 2006/3325; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant. Article 6 of the Order extends section 402(3)(a) and (c) of the Communications Act 2003 (the “CA 2003”) to Guernsey.

S.I. 2003/3198, as amended by S.I. 2007/278; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant. Article 6 of the Order extends sections 365(1) and (4) and 402(3)(a) and (c) of the CA 2003 to the Isle of Man.
S.I. 2004/307, to which there are amendments not relevant to these Regulations. Article 4 of the Order extends section 365(1) and (4) of the CA 2003 to Guernsey.
