Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 E+W

38.  In regulation 6 of the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996(1) (consultation)—

(a) in paragraph (1) for the words “In case (b) the chief officer of the fire brigade of the fire authority” substitute “In case (b) the fire and rescue authority”;

(b) in paragraph (2) for the definition of “fire authority” substitute—

““fire and rescue authority” means the fire and rescue authority under the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 for the area in which the road or place is situated;”.
