2.—(1) The Firefighters' Pension Scheme set out in Schedule 2 to the Firemen’s Pension Scheme Order 1992(1)(renamed in relation to Wales as the Firefighters' Pension (Wales) Scheme)(2) continues in force as amended in accordance with the Schedules to this Order.

The National Assembly for Wales preserved the scheme established under section 26 of the Fire Services Act 1947 (known in Wales as the Firefighters' Pension (Wales) Scheme) by virtue of S.I. 2004/2918 (W.257).
