Regulation 2(2)(c)

SCHEDULE 5 E+W Specification for water extracted fruit juice

1.  Water extracted fruit juice is the product obtained by diffusion with water of— E+W

(a) pulpy whole fruit whose juice cannot be extracted by any physical means; or

(b) dehydrated whole fruit.

2.  As well as the ingredients mentioned in paragraph 1, the product may contain either, or both, of the following— E+W

(a) an authorised additional ingredient; and

(b) an authorised additional substance.

3.  No treatment, except for an authorised treatment, may be used in the manufacture of a product. E+W
