The Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2004 (Commencement No.4) Order 2010

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2004(1), makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2004 (Commencement No.4) Order 2010.

2.  The following provisions of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2004 shall come into force on 12th April 2010—

(a)section 8(9) (Guidance for criminal justice organisations on human rights standards);

(b)section 18 (Repeals), to the extent necessary to bring into force the provisions of Schedule 4 listed in paragraph (c);

(c)in Schedule 4 (Repeals), the entry in respect of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002(2) in so far as it is not already in force.
