6.—(1) If any person, for the purpose of obtaining any authority or sanction under this Order, or in giving any information for the purposes of this Order or any Vesting Order, knowingly or recklessly makes a statement which is false in a material particular, he shall be guilty of an offence against Section I of the Act.
(2) Where any offence against Section I of the Act committed by a body corporate is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or to have been attributable to any neglect on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate, he, as well as the body corporate, shall be deemed to be guilty of that offence, and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.
