The European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1990

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973(1) hereby makes the following Regulations:

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st July 1990.

2.  The second column in the Schedule to the European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) Regulations 1989(2) is amended as follows:

(a)for the second entry there is substituted the sum of £2.75, and

(b)for the third entry there is substituted the sum of £5.00.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) Regulations 1989 by increasing some of the fees payable to the registrar of companies which were prescribed by those Regulations, as follows.

1.  The fee for inspection of documents is increased from £2.50 to £2.75.

2.  The fee for delivering or sending by post by the registrar of companies of a copy or extract of any document or particulars, or any part thereof, delivered to the registrar and kept by him by virtue of regulation 14 of the European Economic Interest Grouping Regulations 1989, is increased from £4.00 to £5.00 for each copy or extract.
