SCHEDULE 4 REGULATIONS RELATING TO MEAT HYGIENE, ETC.: CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS

PART VI CONSEQUENTIAL MODIFICATIONS TO THE WILD GAME MEAT (HYGIENE AND INSPECTION) REGULATIONS 1995

6.  In regulation 18—

(a) as it has effect in relation to England, for the words “the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food” there shall be substituted the words “the Agency”; and

(b) as it has effect in relation to Wales, for the words “the Secretary of State”(1) there shall be substituted the words “the Agency”.

Under article 2(a) of the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672) the functions of the Secretary of State under the provisions of the Food Safety Act 1990 specified in Schedule 1 to that Order, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, were transferred to the National Assembly for Wales.
