Modification of 1992 Act
14. Part IV of the 1992 Act (protective provisions), other than section 17 (for protection of British Railways Board), and sections 43 (for protection of electricity, gas and water undertakers) and 44 (for protection of North West Water Authority) of the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Act 1988(1) as applied by the 1992 Act, shall have effect as if the powers of compulsory acquisition contained in this Order were contained in the 1992 Act and as if the reference to the deposited plans in subsection (3) of section 43 included a reference to the land plans prepared for the purposes of this Order.
