The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by paragraph 5(1) of the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985 (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st April 2005.
2. In article 2 of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986(2)—
(a)in paragraph (a), for “£167,000” there shall be substituted “£173,680”; and
(b)in paragraph (b), for “£160,000” there shall be substituted “£166,400”.
3. The Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2002(3) is hereby revoked.

This Order amends article 2(a) of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986 so as to increase from £160,000 to £173,680 the fee payable to the Gaming Board for Great Britain for the issue of a certificate of approval as an organiser of games of multiple bingo under the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985.
This Order also amends article 2(b) of the 1986 Order so as to increase from £160,000 to £166,400 the fee payable to the Board for the continuing in force of that certificate, which is payable every three years.
S.I 1986/833; the sums specified in article 2(a) and 2(b) of the 1986 Order are as substituted by S.I. 2002/640.
