Insolvency Act 1986 U.K.

65.—(1) Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 M1 is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 73(2)(b) omit “or”.

(3) At the end of paragraph 73(2)(c) insert—

“or

(d) a proposal for a cross-border merger within the meaning of regulation 2 of the Companies (Cross-Border Mergers) Regulations 2007.”.

(4) In paragraph 74(6)(b) after “(compromise with creditors and members)” omit “or”.

(5) After paragraph 74(6)(b) insert—

“(ba) a cross-border merger within the meaning of regulation 2 of the Companies (Cross-Border Mergers) Regulations 2007, or”.

Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 U.K.

66.—(1) Schedule B1 to the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 M2 is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 74(2)(b) omit “or”.

(3) At the end of paragraph 74(2)(c) insert—

“or

(d) a proposal for a cross-border merger within the meaning of regulation 2 of the Companies (Cross-Border Mergers) Regulations 2007.”.

(4) In paragraph 75(6)(b) after “(compromise with creditors and members)” omit “or”.

(5) After paragraph 75(6)(b) insert—

“(ba) a cross-border merger within the meaning of regulation 2 of the Companies (Cross-Border Mergers) Regulations 2007, or”.
