1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Primary Ophthalmic Services Transitional Provisions Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 3rd June 2008.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England.
(3) In these Regulations—
“the 1986 Regulations” means the National Health Service (General Ophthalmic Services) Regulations 1986(1);
“the Amending Regulations” means the National Health Service (Performers Lists) Amendment and Transitional Provisions Regulations 2008(2); and
“the Contracts Regulations” means the General Ophthalmic Services Contract Regulations 2008(3).
