CHAPTER 1 E+W Financial eligibility limits and waivers

Waiver of eligibility limit in proceedings relating to domestic violence [F1 , female genital mutilation protection orders] and forced marriage E+W

12.—(1) This regulation applies to an application in respect of legal representation in a matter described in paragraph 11 (family homes and domestic violence) [F2 , 15A (female genital mutilation protection orders)] or 16 (forced marriage) of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the extent that the individual is seeking—

(a) an injunction or other order for protection from harm to the person; or

(b) committal for breach of any such order.

(2) Where this regulation applies, the Director may, if the Director considers it equitable to do so, disapply the eligibility limits in regulations 7 and 8.
