“Certified copy” is defined in regulation 2(1) of, and is issued by a registration authority in accordance with regulations 14 to 16 of, the Civil Partnership (Registration Provisions) Regulations 2005 (S.I. 2005/3176).
“Certified extract” is defined in regulation 2(1) of, and is issued by a registration authority in accordance with regulations 14 to 16 of those Regulations.
Certified copies and certified extracts are issued by the Registrar General in accordance with regulations 13, 15 and 16 of those Regulations.
