The Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) Regulations 2014

Citation, application and commencement E+W+S

1.  These Regulations—

(a) may be cited as the Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) Regulations 2014;

(b) apply in England; and

(c) come into force on 6th April 2014.

Authorised fuels for the purposes of Part 3 of the Clean Air Act 1993 E+W+S

2.  For the purposes of Part 3 of the Clean Air Act 1993, the following are authorised fuels—

(a) anthracite;

(b) semi-anthracite;

(c) electricity;

(d) gas;

(e) low volatile steam coals; and

(f) the fuels described in the Schedule.

Revocation E+W+S

3.  The Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2013(1) are revoked.
