This Order amends the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme 1983 (“the principal Scheme”) which makes provision for the payment of pensions and allowances to or in respect of civilians who were killed or injured during the 1939-1945 World War.
Article 2(a) substitutes a new table into Schedule 3 to the principal Scheme. This table reflects the up-rating of the payments contained within it. This table specifies which rates of pensions and allowances are payable in respect of disablement and or earnings or income thresholds.
Article 2(b) substitutes a new table into Schedule 4 to the principal Scheme. This table reflects the up-rating of the payments contained within it. This table specifies the rates of pensions and allowances payable in respect of death.
