1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) Regulations 2021.
(2) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4), these Regulations come into force on 1st October 2021.
(3) Regulation 6(6)(a)(iv) comes into force on 1st March 2022 in so far as it inserts the row beginning “Light source parameters” and the two rows after it into Table 6 of Annex 5 to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016.
(4) Regulation 8(2)(b) comes into force on 1st January 2022 in so far as it amends the entry relating to a solid fuel local space heater in the table in paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010(1).
(5) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, and Scotland.
2. In regulations 1 and 6, “Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016” means Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016 of 11 March 2019 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of refrigerating appliances and repealing Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010(2), as modified by Schedule 3 to the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020(3).
S.I. 2010/2617. Schedule 1 has been amended by S.I. 2011/2677, 2012/3005, 2013/1232, 2014/1290, 2015/469, 2016/838, 2017/1143, 2019/539, 2019/1253 and 2020/485. The amendments made by S.I. 2019/539 extend to England and Wales and Scotland only. The insertion of item 29 (a solid fuel local space heater) by S.I. 2017/1143 comes into force on 1st January 2022.
