Approval of conformity checks by certain EU member states under Article 15 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 543/2011
2.—(1) The checks on conformity to marketing standards for fruit and vegetables carried out by the states listed in column 1 of the table set out in the Schedule prior to import into Great Britain are approved in accordance with Article 15(1) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 543/2011.
(2) In accordance with Article 15(2) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 543/2011, in respect of each state listed in column 1 of the table set out in the Schedule—
(a)the official authority, under the responsibility of which the checks referred to in paragraph (1) are carried out, is the body listed in the corresponding entry in column 2;
(b)the inspection bodies in charge of the checks referred to in paragraph (1) are those bodies listed in the corresponding entry in column 3.
