2. Yn y Rheoliadau hyn—
ystyr “awdurdod tramor perthnasol” (“relevant foreign authority”) yw person y tu allan i Ynysoedd Prydain, sy'n cyflawni swyddogaethau yn y wlad lle mae'r plentyn, neu lle mae'r darpar fabwysiadydd, yn arfer preswylio, ac sy'n cyfateb i swyddogaethau asiantaeth fabwysiadu fel a ddiffinnir gan adran 2(1) o'r Ddeddf neu i swyddogaethau'r Ysgrifennydd Gwladol o ran mabwysiadu gydag elfen dramor;
ystyr “y Ddeddf” (“the Act”) yw Deddf Mabwysiadu a Phlant 2002;
ystyr “Rheoliadau'r Asiantaethau” (“the Agencies Regulations”) yw Rheoliadau Asiantaethau Mabwysiadu (Cymru) 2005(1);ac
ystyr “y Rheoliadau Elfen Dramor” (“the Foreign Element Regulations”) yw Rheoliadau Mabwysiadu gydag Elfen Dramor 2005(2).
