(Nid yw'r nodyn hwn yn rhan o'r Gorchymyn)
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn pennu eithriadau i'r hyn sy'n gynwysedig yn y diffiniadau o “gwarchod plant” neu “gofal dydd i blant” at ddibenion Rhan 2 o Fesur Plant a Theuluoedd (Cymru) 2010 (“Mesur 2010”).
Mae adrannau 21 a 23 o Fesur 2010, yn eu trefn, yn gwneud yn ofynnol bod gwarchodwr plant a pherson sy'n darparu gofal dydd i blant yn cofrestru gyda Gweinidogion Cymru. Mae adran 19(2) a (3) yn diffinio “gwarchod plant” a “gofal dydd i blant”. Mae adran 19(4) a (5) yn rhoi pŵer i Weinidogion Cymru bennu amgylchiadau pan fydd person, y byddai ei weithgarwch fel arall yn dod o fewn un o'r diffiniadau, wedi ei eithrio o'r diffiniad hwnnw ac o ganlyniad na fydd yn ofynnol iddo gofrestru.
