Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio Rheoliadau Rheolaethau Swyddogol (Estyn Cyfnodau Trosiannol) 2021 a Rheoliadau Paratoadau Cig (Diwygio ac Addasiadau Darfodol) (Cymru) (Ymadael â’r UE) 2021.

Mae rheoliad 2 yn diwygio Rheoliadau Rheolaethau Swyddogol (Estyn Cyfnodau Trosiannol) 2021 er mwyn estyn, o ran Cymru, ddyddiad dod i ben y cyfnod graddoli trosiannol (“transitional staging period”) o 31 Rhagfyr 2022 i 31 Ionawr 2024.

Mae rheoliad 3 yn diwygio Rheoliadau Paratoadau Cig (Diwygio ac Addasiadau Darfodol) (Cymru) (Ymadael â’r UE) 2021 er mwyn estyn yr ataliad dros dro ar y gofyniad i baratoadau cig fod wedi eu rhewi’n ddwfn pan fônt yn cael eu mewnforio i Gymru o Aelod-wladwriaethau’r AEE, Ynysoedd Ffaro, yr Ynys Las neu’r Swistir, gan gysoni â’r dyddiad a benodwyd fel dyddiad dod i ben estynedig y cyfnod graddoli trosiannol (rheoliad 2).

Ystyriwyd cod ymarfer Gweinidogion Cymru ar gynnal asesiadau effaith rheoleiddiol mewn perthynas â’r Rheoliadau hyn. O ganlyniad, ystyriwyd nad oedd yn angenrheidiol cynnal asesiad effaith rheoleiddiol o’r costau a’r manteision sy’n debygol o ddeillio o gydymffurfio â’r Rheoliadau hyn.
