PART B: COMMERCIAL VEHICLE TYRESU.K.

1.The tyre is mounted on the measuring rim specified by the manufacturer pursuant to section 6.11 of Appendix 1 to Annex I and is inflated to a pressure specified by the manufacturer pursuant to section 6.12 of Annex I, Appendix 1.U.K.

2.The tyre fitted on its rim is conditioned to the ambient temperature of the laboratory for at least 24 hours.U.K.

3.The pressure is readjusted to the value specified in section 1.U.K.

4.The overall width is measured by caliper at six equally-spaced points, account being taken of the thickness of the protective ribs or bands. The highest measurement so obtained is taken as the overall width.U.K.

5.The outer diameter is determined by measuring the maximum circumference and dividing the figure so obtained by π (3,1416).U.K.
