2.Extension of measures and derogationsU.K.
2.1.The competent authority may impose:U.K.
2.1.1.the use of sentinel animals, in particular in holdings difficult to clean and disinfect and notably open-air holdings. Detailed provision on the use of sentinels may be laid down in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 89(2).U.K.
2.1.2.Additional safeguard and control measures within the framework of restocking.U.K.
2.2.The competent authorities may derogate from the measures provided for in points 1.3.2 to 1.3.4 of this Annex where restocking is carried out after 3 months have elapsed following the last outbreak in an area of 10 km radius centred on the holding subject to the restocking operation.U.K.
