F1ANNEX IVF2REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF EC TYPE-APPROVAL OF VEHICLES
PART IIList of UNECE regulations recognised as an alternative to directives or regulations mentioned in Part I
Where reference is made to a separate Directive or Regulation in the table of Part I, an approval issued under the following UNECE Regulations to which the Community has acceded as a Contracting Party to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe ‘Revised 1958 Agreement’ by virtue of Council Decision 97/836/EC94, or subsequent Council decisions as referred to in Article 3(3) of that Decision, shall be considered as equivalent to an EC type-approval granted under the relevant separate Directive or Regulation.
Any further amendment of the UNECE Regulations listed below95 shall also be deemed to be equivalent, subject to the Community Decision as referred to in Article 4(2) of Decision 97/836/EC.
