Article 13

Checks on whether the composition of textile products is in conformity with the information supplied in accordance with this Directive shall be carried out by the methods of analysis specified in the Directives referred to in paragraph 2.

For this purpose, the fibre percentages in Articles 4, 5 and 6 shall be determined by applying to the anhydrous mass of each fibre the appropriate agreed allowance laid down in Annex V, after having removed the items referred to in Article 12.

Separate directives shall specify the methods of sampling and analysis to be used in Member States to determine the fibre composition of products covered by this Directive.
