Article 70U.K.Amendment to Directive 2004/17/EC

The following Article shall be inserted in Directive 2004/17/EC:

‘Article 22aContracts in the fields of defence and security

This Directive shall not apply to contracts to which Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009 on the coordination of procedures for the award of certain works contracts, supply contracts and service contracts by contracting authorities or entities in the fields of defence and security(1) applies, nor to contracts to which that Directive does not apply pursuant to Articles 8, 12 and 13 thereof.’.
