ANNEX III U.K. MONITORING OF EMISSIONS AND ASSESSMENT OF COMPLIANCE

PART 2 U.K. Assessment of compliance

1. In the case of periodic measurements, the emission limit values referred to in Article 6 shall be regarded as having been complied with if the results of each of the series of measurements or of the other procedures defined and determined in accordance with the rules laid down by the competent authority, do not exceed the relevant emission limit value. 2. In the case of continuous measurements, compliance with the emission limit values referred to in Article 6 shall be assessed as set out in point 1 of Part 4 of Annex V to Directive 2010/75/EU. U.K.

The validated average values are determined as set out in points 9 and 10 of Part 3 of Annex V to Directive 2010/75/EU.

3. For the purpose of the calculation of the average emission values, the values measured during the periods referred to in Article 6(11) and Article 6(12) as well as during the start-up and shut-down periods shall be disregarded. U.K.
