1. For all contingencies except unemployment benefits:
(a)as a genereal rule:
the social insurance office with which the person concerned is insured.
[F2(b) For mariners not resident in Sweden:
Försäkringskassan i Västra Götaland, sjöfartskontoret (National Social Insurance Agency, seafarer’s division),
(c) For the purpose of applying Articles 35 to 59 of the implementing Regulation for persons not resident in Sweden:
Gotlands läns allmänna försäkringskassa, utlandskontoret (National Social Insurance Agency, local office of Gotland, international division).]
(d)For the purpose of applying Articles 60 to 77 of the implementing Regulation for persons, with the exception of mariners not resident in Sweden:

  • the social insurance office of the place where the accident at work or the occupational disease occurred or appeared, or

  • Stockholms läns allmänna försäkringskassa, utlandsavdelningen (Social Insurance office of Stockholm, Foreign Division).

[F32. For unemployment benefits:
(a)

for the purpose of applying Articles 80 to 82 of the implementing Regulation:

  • the unemployment fund which would be competent to deal with a benefit application in the event of unemployment in Sweden, or

  • the supervisory authority;

(b)

for the purpose of applying Article 83 of the implementing Regulation:

  • Inspektionen för arbetslöshetsförsäkringen (Swedish Unemployment Insurance Board).]
