In implementing this Regulation, the Commission shall be assisted by a Generalised Preferences Committee, composed of representatives of the Member States and chaired by the representative of the Commission.

The Committee may examine any matter relating to the application of this Regulation raised by the Commission or at the request of a Member State.

The Committee shall examine the effects of the Community scheme of generalised tariff preferences, on the basis of an annual report from the Commission. This report shall cover all preferential arrangements referred to in Article 1(2).

The Committee shall adopt its rules of procedure.
