Section IIBeet sugar
Article 34

Processing undertakings shall submit their applications in writing to the competent authorities. Applications shall indicate the quantity of white sugar produced from sugarbeet harvested in the Azores and shall be accompanied by:
a
proof of purchase of the sugarbeet from each producer who has delivered the sugarbeet that has been processed; and
b
a written undertaking not to refine raw sugar during the period when sugarbeet is being processed into white sugar.

The aid referred to in paragraph 1 shall be paid only after it has been established that white sugar has been produced from the sugarbeet harvested in the Azores.
