CHAPTER IIIFISHING OPPORTUNITIES AND ASSOCIATED CONDITIONS FOR THIRD COUNTRY VESSELS
Article 13Authorisation
Vessels flying the flag of Barbados, Guyana, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela and vessels registered in the Faroe Islands shall be authorised to make catches in Community waters, within the quota limits set out in Annex I, and subject to the conditions provided for in Articles 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.
Article 14Geographic restrictions
Fishing by vessels flying the flag of:
- (a)
Norway or registered in the Faroe Islands shall be limited to those parts of the 200 nautical mile zone lying seawards of 12 nautical miles from the baselines of Member States in the North Sea, Kattegat and the Atlantic Ocean north of 43°00′N, except the area referred to in Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 2371/2002; fishing in the Skagerrak by vessels flying the flag of Norway shall be allowed seawards of four nautical miles from the baselines of Denmark and Sweden;

Barbados, Guyana, Japan, South Korea, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela shall be limited to those parts of the 200-nautical-mile zone lying seawards of 12 nautical miles from the baselines of the French Department of Guyana.
Article 15Conditions for landing catch and by-catch
Fish from stocks for which fishing opportunities are fixed shall not be retained on board or landed unless the catches have been taken by vessels of a third country having a quota and that quota is not exhausted.
