The provisions laid down in Regulation No 1 of 15 April 1958 determining the languages to be used in the European Economic Community13 shall apply to the Institute.

The translation services required for the functioning of the Institute shall, in principle, be provided by the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union set up by Council Regulation (EC) No 2965/9414.
