[F1Article 58aU.K. Commercial use of personal and household effects within [F2Great Britain]

[F31.Commercial activities for specimens of species listed in Annex B to Regulation (EC) No 338/97 which are introduced into [F4Great Britain] in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 338/97 may be authorised by [F4the management authority] only under the following conditions:]

[F5(a)where the specimen was acquired in, or was introduced into, the United Kingdom before IP completion day or was introduced into Great Britain after that day, the applicant needs to demonstrate that the specimen has been so introduced for at least two years before it can be used for commercial purpose; and]

(b)the management authority F6... has verified that the specimen in question could have been imported for commercial purposes in accordance with Article 4(2) of Regulation (EC) No 338/97 at the time when it was introduced into [F7Great Britain].

Once those conditions are fulfilled, the management authority shall deliver a written statement attesting that the specimen can be used for commercial purposes.

[F32.Commercial activities shall be prohibited for specimens of species listed in Annex A to Regulation (EC) No 338/97 which were introduced into [F8Great Britain] in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 338/97, or for specimens of species listed in Appendix I to the Convention or in Annex C1 to Regulation (EEC) No 3626/82 and introduced into [F8Great Britain] as personal and household effects.]]
