8. CONSTRAINT RELATED TO ACCESS AND USE U.K.

A constraint related to access and use shall be either or both of the following:

• a set of conditions applying to access and use (8.1),

• a set of limitations on public access (8.2).

8.1. Conditions applying to access and use U.K.

This metadata element defines the conditions for access and use of spatial data sets and services, and where applicable, corresponding fees as required by [F2 regulations 6(2)(d) and (e) and 7(3)(e) of the INSPIRE Regulations 2009 or, as the case may be, regulations 7(2)(d) and (e) and 8(3)(e) of the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009].

8.2. Limitations on public access U.K.

When [F3 data publishers] limit public access to spatial data sets and spatial data services under [F4 regulation 9 of the INSPIRE Regulations 2009 or, as the case may be, regulation 10 of the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009], this metadata element shall provide information on the limitations and the reasons for them.
