CHAPTER IVPROCEDURAL PROVISIONS

Article 27

Without prejudice to Article 11(7), the Commission shall be assisted by a Generalised Preferences Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee).

The Committee may examine any matter relating to the application of this Regulation, raised by the Commission or at the request of a Member State.

The Committee shall examine the effects of the scheme, on the basis of a report from the Commission covering the period since 1 January 2006. This report shall cover all of the preferential arrangements referred to in Article 1(2), and shall be presented in time for the discussion on the next Regulation.

Where reference is made to this paragraph, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC shall apply.

The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at three months.
