Regulation (EC) No 1060/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on credit rating agencies (Text with EEA relevance)

1.The obligation of professional secrecy shall apply to [F2the FCA], F3... and all persons who work or who have worked for [F2the FCA], F4... or for any other person to whom [F2the FCA] has delegated tasks, including auditors and experts contracted by [F2the FCA]. Information covered by professional secrecy shall not be disclosed to another person or authority except where such disclosure is necessary for legal proceedings.
2.All the information that, under this Regulation, is acquired by, or exchanged between, [F5the FCA], [F6any other United Kingdom public authority], [F7or third country competent authorities] F8..., shall be considered confidential, except where [F5the FCA] F9... or other authority F10... concerned states at the time of communication that such information may be disclosed or where such disclosure is necessary for legal proceedings.]
