List of UNECE Regulations which apply on a compulsory basis

a UNECE Regulations Nos 1, 8 and 20 are not applicable for EC type-approval of new vehicles.
b Including, for the purpose of EC type-approval of new types of vehicles of category N 1 and of registration, sale and entry into service of new vehicles of category N 1 , the requirements on roll-over control and directional control set out in its Annex 21.
