ANNEX II U.K. DISCOVERY SERVICES

PART A U.K. Search criteria

In order to be in conformity with the minimum set of search criteria set out in [F1 regulation 7(3) of the INSPIRE Regulations 2009 or, as the case may be, regulation 8(3) of the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009], the Discovery Service shall support searching with the INSPIRE metadata elements listed in Table 1 of this Annex.

The following INSPIRE metadata elements or set of elements shall be also available as search criteria:

Unique Resource Identifier;

Temporal Reference.

To allow for discovering resources through a combination of search criteria, logical and comparison operators shall be supported.

To allow for discovering resources based on the geographic location of the resource, the spatial operator listed in Table 2 shall be supported.
