Article 11Conditions to be applied following the introduction into the Union of certain consignments of ungulates

Following their introduction into the Union, consignments of ungulates intended for breeding and production, or intended for zoos, amusement parks and wildlife or hunting reserves, shall be conveyed without delay to the holding of destination.

The ungulates shall remain on that holding for a period of at least 30 days, unless they are dispatched directly to a slaughterhouse.

Following their introduction into the Union, consignments of ungulates intended for immediate slaughter shall be conveyed without delay to the slaughterhouse of destination where they shall be slaughtered within five working days from the date of arrival at the slaughterhouse.
