In Regulation (EC) No 1162/2009, the first subparagraph of Article 3(2) is replaced by the following:
‘2.By way of derogation from Article 6(4) of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004, food business operators importing food containing both products of plant origin and processed products of animal origin, other than those referred to in Article 3(1) of Regulation (EU) No 28/2012(1), shall be exempt from the obligation provided for in that Article.’
