CHAPTER VU.K.USE OF EURO

Article 31U.K.Amounts and payments in the milk and milk products sector

1.For aid granted for supplying certain milk products to pupils as referred to in Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 657/2008(1), the operative event for the exchange rate shall be the first day of the period to which the payment application referred to in Article 11 of that Regulation relates.

2.For the payment of the levy referred to in Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 595/2004(2), for a given twelve-month period within the meaning of Chapter III of Title I of Part II of Council Regulation (EU) No 1234/2007(3), the operative event for the exchange rate shall be 1 April following the period concerned.

3.For the transport costs referred to in Article 30(3) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1272/2009(4), the operative event for the exchange rate shall be the day on which the valid offer has been received by the competent authority.
