Article 62U.K.Withdrawal of the designation of border control posts

1.Where border control posts cease to comply with the requirements referred to in Article 64, the [F1competent authorities] shall:

(a)withdraw the designation provided for in Article 59(1) for all or for certain categories of animals and goods for which the designation was made; and

(b)remove those border control posts from the lists referred to in Article 60(1), for the categories of animals and goods for which the designation is withdrawn.

2.[F2The competent authority must inform the other competent authorities of the constituent territories of the British Islands] of the withdrawal of the designation of a border control post as provided for in paragraph 1 and of the reasons for such withdrawal.

4.This Article shall be without prejudice to [F4competent authorities'] competence to decide on the withdrawal of designation of border control posts for reasons other than those referred to in this Regulation.
