originates in areas known to be free from Cryphonectria parasitica (Murrill.) Barr.; or - (b)
has been subjected to an appropriate fumigation or other appropriate treatment against Cryphonectria parasitica (Murrill.) Barr. to a specification approved in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 107 of Regulation (EU) No 2016/2031. When fumigation is applied, the active ingredient, the minimum bark temperature, the rate (g/m3) and the exposure time (h) thereof are indicated on the phytosanitary certificate referred to in Article 71 of Regulation (EU) No 2016/2031.
