Mixture of cis-/trans- diastereoisomers:

  • 60-80 % trans-, consisting of 50 % (1S,2S) and 50 % (1R,2R), and

  • 20-40 % cis-, consisting of 50 % (1R,2S) and 50 % (1S,2R).

Restrictions for use as a flavouring substance:

  • In category 1. — not more than 1 mg/kg;

  • In category 12. — not more than 6 mg/kg;

  • In category 14.1.4. — not more than 3 mg/kg.
