SECTION 2Derogation, transitional and final provisions
Article 49Repeal

Without prejudice to Article 50, Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 is repealed with effect from 25 May 2021. However, Chapter III thereof is repealed with effect from 8 June 2019.

By way of derogation from paragraph 1:
a
Article 17(2) of Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 shall continue to apply until 25 May 2021;
b
Article 20 of Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 and, without prejudice to the applicability of the other provisions of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 716/201327, Article 9 of that Implementing Regulation shall continue to apply until the completion of the procedures provided for in Article 9 of that Implementing Regulation but, in any event, no later than 25 May 2021; and
c
Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 shall continue to apply until the register referred to in Article 33 of this Regulation has been established.

References to Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 shall be construed as references to this Regulation and be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in Annex IV to this Regulation.
