Article 2Phytosanitary certificate

The specified wood shall be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued in the United States, certifying freedom from F2GB quarantine pests and F3provisional GB quarantine pests, subject to F4any measures specified in regulations made under Article 30 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 after inspection.

The phytosanitary certificate shall include under the heading ‘Additional declaration’ the following elements:
a
the statement ‘In accordance with F5GB requirements laid down in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1002 (*)

b
the bundle number(s) corresponding to each specific bundle being exported;
c
the name of the approved facility(ies) in the United States.

In paragraph 1, ‘GB quarantine pest’ and ‘provisional GB quarantine pest’ have the meanings given in Regulation (EU) 2016/2031.
