Consignments of semen, oocytes and embryos of animals of bovine, porcine, ovine, caprine and equine animals shall only be permitted to enter the Union if those germinal products comply with the following requirements:

1. (a)

   they are marked in such a way that the following information can be readily established:

   1. (i)

      the date of collection or production of those germinal products;

   2. (ii)

      the species and identification of the donor animal(s);

   3. (iii)

      the unique approval number, which shall include the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code of the country in which the approval is granted;

   4. (iv)

      any other relevant information;

2. (b)

   they fulfil animal health requirements for the collection, production, processing and storage set out in Annex III to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/686.
