Appointed days

2.  The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 is 28th July 2003;

(a) Articles 18 to 27;

(b) Articles 33 to 35;

(c) Article 36(1) to the extent that it gives effect to the amendments mentioned in sub-paragraph (d);

(d) paragraphs 1, 2, 4 to 15 and 17 to 25 of Schedule 1;

(e) Article 36(2) to the extent that it gives effect to the repeals in Schedule 2, in so far as they are not already in operation, except the repeal of words in the Police and Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989(1).
