10.—(1) The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996(1) are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In regulation 26(4) (vehicles suitable for test), in Table 1(2) for “Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3821/85”, in each place that it appears, substitute “Regulation (EU) No. 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 February 2014 on tachographs in road transport, as read with the Community Drivers’ Hours and Recording Equipment (Exemptions and Supplementary Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009”.
(3) In Schedule 6 (specified matters for theory test), in paragraphs E.7.(3) of Parts 3 and 4(4) for “Council Regulation (EEC No. 3821/85)” substitute “Regulation (EU) No. 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 February 2014 on tachographs in road transport, as read with the Community Drivers’ Hours and Recording Equipment (Exemptions and Supplementary Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009”.
